Tree Flake

Tree Flake

We refer to the symbol used at SASAKI as the "Tree Flake". At first glance, it may look like a snowflake, but just like the symbol that exists in the history of Sasaki Crafts, it was formed with the motif of a "tree". And not just one tree, but it is composed of multiple elements and meanings of "tree", overlaying the future and identity that SASAKI envisions.

This striking shape simplifies the image of a snow-covered tree when viewed from above. It represents the importance of overlooking trees. Depending on how you look at it, it may also look like small branches arranged in a regular pattern. Small parts alone mean nothing, but by processing and devising, it represents SASAKI's attitude towards creating new shapes and values. In addition, each of these shapes is composed based on the kanji character for "tree" and the English "K", and by repeating the same pattern, it represents the "expansion of scale" that is born each time they are combined, just like the formation of kanji characters such as tree<grove<forest<...

In this way, while valuing understanding and recognizing that both the grandeur of nature and the products created by SASAKI are "trees", we thought it should be like the North Star that illuminates the future of SASAKI. From Asahikawa to the world, from the world to Asahikawa. As a symbol of such a crossroads, we use the Tree Flake as our symbol mark.
