The packaging used at SASAKI adopts a very simple method. The packaging, which is simply heat-bonded and fixed with a polypropylene film on thick white cardboard, is not just aimed at rationalization and efficiency, but the most important point is that it is conscious of the "renewal of woodworking craft". Our craftmanship excels at creating things through the use of both machines and human hands. When we perceive these attitudes towards craftsmanship as a "new woodworking craft", we thought that not only the product, but also the encompassing packaging, may need a new form that has never been seen before. That is, it is like a daily necessity, yet it is close to a one-of-a-kind product. While it is woodworking craft, it is different from a complete woodworking craft. These packages that generate such gaps and mismatches play an important role in demonstrating the "renewal of woodworking craft" that SASAKI envisions.
